LindaKE Posted October 7, 2010 #1 Share Posted October 7, 2010 I looked at our booking papers closely enough to actually do the arithmetic. There is a line identified as "Non-comm Fare". It's listed after Cruise/Tour Fare, Taxes/Fees, Total Due, then Non-comm Fare, then finally Amt. Received. It doesn't add to, or subtract from, any totals, so I'm just being curious. What is it? We booked directly with our PCC if that makes any difference.
Randyk47 Posted October 7, 2010 #2 Share Posted October 7, 2010 It's a part of the total fare for which the TA does not get commission. For instance, a TA will not get a commission on port fees and taxes.
