I'm confused. We were there in June 09 and it looks the same unless more sand was added? Haven't been on the boards much. Please fill me in!

I was just there two days ago, and frankly nothing has changed. It looks the same as when I went years ago. There were fences and I saw some cranes behind the fences, so work is being done. NCL is making improvements but for now, nothing has changed.

I was just there last month and had been there in 2005. It was pretty much the same. There was some construction going on behind the main area, and I heard they were thinking of expanding it.

GSC is a nice stop. Guaranteed safe/clean beach with functional/clean bathrooms...Food included, no worries about anything.

ahhhh can't wait to go. Thanks for the last pic BooBooMonkey. I didn't realize people went snorkling over on the opposite side of the main beach area. For some reason, i had in mind that it was just a tiny little area. Your pic shows otherwise.

I was there in April 2010 and they had added a huge inflatable waterslide. I think it was $10 for a bracelet to use it all day. Don't know if they still have it, but my 7y/o loved it as well as some older teens and young adults that I saw enjoying themselves

No change when I was there in September but if you are by the Clam Shells and turn around face away from the water and the ship you can see construction equipment and hear the backup beepers going the entire stay.

From what everyone told me, the NEW GSC isn't open yet, still working on constructing it.
