Windsailer Posted October 14, 2010 #1 Share Posted October 14, 2010 I'll be taking a HAL cruise in the Med next year and have a question about the amount of chlorine in the Lido pool. A friend of mine recently sailed on the "O" and said that the smell of chlorine was so pervasive she decided not to swim at all. Will it be the same on the Noordam? CruiserBruce Posted October 14, 2010 #2 Share Posted October 14, 2010 Chlorine is used. Sensativity varies by person. I wouldn't say the smell of chlorine is pervasive in the pool area.
fqtvguy Posted October 14, 2010 #3 Share Posted October 14, 2010 I would have to agree - just got off the O'dam and didn't find the smell at all pervaisive - and the dome was closed for a couple of days. I honestly found the smell stronger on the Amsterdam, but when in the pool, found the odour to not be strong at all (especially as compared with our local community pool).
