quick help need for hotel selection..

Going online to bid for a hotel for Miami...which area do I want if leaving from Port of Miami and what star rating should I go for.

Go for Miami downtown. South beach is a little further away. I bid on the 3* and got the Raddison which is close to the pier - we could see the ships from our window. Just a short taxi ride to the pier. I don't know if you know about http://www.biddingfortravel.com - go there first and it will tell you about all the hotels in each area of Miami and what the going bids are.
