NH Cruisers Posted October 17, 2010 #1 Share Posted October 17, 2010 Going to Panama Canal in March 2011. Visiting Aruba, Curaco, and Costa Rica. Do we need certain imunization records or a visa at any port? Where can I find posted information on this? Jon
paul929207 Posted October 17, 2010 #2 Share Posted October 17, 2010 I don't believe so. Did you check the HAL site? Princess posts need innoculations for each cruise.
cb at sea Posted October 17, 2010 #3 Share Posted October 17, 2010 Nope--you don't need any of those things to visit as a cruise ship passenger.

njhorseman Posted October 17, 2010 #5 Share Posted October 17, 2010 You can check the requirements of each Country athttp://travel.state.gov/travel/cis_pa_tw/cis/cis_1765.html Just a word of caution...the Department of State has at times not had accurate infomation on its Web site regarding passport and visa information for US citizens traveling on cruise ships. It's not uncommon for countries to have less stringent entry requirements for passengers making a day visit on a cruise ship than those who arrive by other means, such as by air. Bonnie J. Posted October 17, 2010 #7 Share Posted October 17, 2010 We have been to all those ports more than once and you need nothing but yourselves!
Putterdude Posted October 18, 2010 #8 Share Posted October 18, 2010 While it is advisable to have a few shots like Hep A and Hep B they are not required. I would however that you consult with your health professional to be sure that what they recommend for you as everyone is different. No visas are required.
