Tranquil Waters Posted October 25, 2010 #6 Share Posted October 25, 2010 Are they charging extra for these? Surely you're not suggesting that RCI would pass up the chance to add another upcharge are you?:confused::D Yes, they do charge...... :) And just when the cupcake fad is fading - gotta wonder.
yogimax Posted October 25, 2010 #7 Share Posted October 25, 2010 They charge for the cupcakes on Oasis. The better deal is to get the free donuts.
buddha74 Posted October 26, 2010 #8 Share Posted October 26, 2010 They cost $2,50 on Oasis so it's likely that they will cost as much on the other ships..

cot427 Posted October 26, 2010 #14 Share Posted October 26, 2010 They charge for the cupcakes on Oasis. The better deal is to get the free donuts. The 2.50 for the cupcakes is not bad. I would much rather pay the 2.50 than to eat those things they call donuts from the boardwalk donut shop. Those donuts were inedible! Just awful things. dianeandmike2004 Posted October 26, 2010 #21 Share Posted October 26, 2010 Has anyone here taken the cupcake decorating class? I read that it is about $17.25 and you get a cupcake, hat, and apron. What I would like to know is something about the class itself--was it fun? How long was the class? What did you learn? Do you think that it was worth it? Thanks so much! Susie B. Posted October 26, 2010 #22 Share Posted October 26, 2010 I'd also love to hear any comments from someone who took the class. I love to bake but my decorating skills could seriously use some refinement.
tip Posted October 26, 2010 #23 Share Posted October 26, 2010 More RCCL nickel and diming! Make that 50 more nickels or 25 more dimes for each cupcake!;)

Those vanilla donuts with vanilla icing that were on the Serenade could be found in CL and WJ were a huge hit with my family. They often had a stock pile for evening snacks!! And yes-bonus-included in the cruise fare!!!;)
