The 2.50 for the cupcakes is not bad. I would much rather pay the 2.50 than to eat those things they call donuts from the boardwalk donut shop. Those donuts were inedible! Just awful things.

 

I have to agree with you on that one. The donuts were just plain nasty!

I made this cupcake myself.....if anyone wants one I'll gladly ship one to you for a reasonable charge of .05 plus shipping.....but it doesn't come with a cruise ship.

I took the class last week on Oasis. I really enjoyed it. It was held at the table right in the Cupcake Cupboard and lasted about 30 minutes. To sign up just go to the Cupcake Cupboard and choose the day and time you want. Class size was about 10 or 12 I think. When I arrived for the class all our ingredients and tools were layed out on the table. The pastry chef showed us how to construct the giant cheeseburger cupcake and french fries out of three smaller cupcakes. It was alot of fun and anyone with or without baking experience should feel comfortable taking the class.

Had Vanilla Cupcakes with Vanilla iceing delivered to our room as part of a romance package on the Explorer on 10-28 10 cruise and they were outrageous.

We LOVED the cupcake cafe on the Oasis! Well worth the $2.50. Hopefully they will expand it to the Mariner before we go in 2012!
