beckzay Posted November 2, 2010 #1 Share Posted November 2, 2010 Does anyone have a picture of a balcony room on the Jewel with the third bed (sofa bed) pulled out and set up? Thanks!

beckzay Posted November 2, 2010 Author #3 Share Posted November 2, 2010 thank you! So, it looks like you can't even get out onto the balcony if the beds are out :( That really stinks!!
honeymooner882009 Posted November 2, 2010 #4 Share Posted November 2, 2010 I just got off the Jewel on October 17th. we had an AFT balcony room. You wouldn't be able to get on the balcony with both beds 'out'. The room is perfect size for 2 people, any more then that would be a bit tight. The interior cabins looked a bit more accomadating for 4 people.
beckzay Posted November 2, 2010 Author #5 Share Posted November 2, 2010 We have a 10 yr old daughter and we were hoping to be able to hang out on the balcony when she went to bed so as not to wake her up. Great, now we are going to have to rethink this :(
Ask4Jay Posted November 2, 2010 #6 Share Posted November 2, 2010 We were on the Dawn with our 12-yo granddaughter in an aft balcony cabin.. After cabin attendant had made up our beds, we just pushed the bottom section back in a bit to shorten the bed. It was still long enough for our granddaughter and it gave us grandparents to get out onto the balcony. It suited us well: she could sleep late, we were able to enjoy our balcony. Need a dressing / changing room? Open both the bathroom door and the closet. See picture below.
