I'm enjoying your posts. Thanks for allowing us "armchair travelers" to share in the fun. The Enchantment is one of my favorite ships, and we, too, just sailed from Baltimore recently, and loved sailing under the Key Bridge and the twin Bay Bridges--such a great experience! Hope the weather improves, and I hope you have a GREAT cruise....:)

Hello everyone. . .Welcome to Day 2 from Enchantment of the Seas. It is still raining, but the forecast calls for clear skies later today.

The welcome aboard show last was great. . . The Enchantment CD (Carly Bolleau) was a riot. She is very, very funny and it appears that she will try to keep the spirits up of all passengers this week. She asked if we could tell where she was from by her accent. She suggested that no one could tell , because she has been influenced by many places. . . She was born in Wales, and went to school in London. She now lives in Canada, and is married to a Frenchman. . .

Dinner last night was very good. . .I was seated in the MTD section of the MDR. I had Watermelon Gazpacho, and Pork Tenderloin Medallions, and it was very good.

I started to panic this morning when I went up to the Viking Crown Lounge for my morning post. I was unable to connect. . . WHAT? Unable to connect to WI FI ? Uh OH. . . . I was in trouble. . How could this be? I always connect on every ship. Do I have to wait until we get to San Juan, and connect in Starbucks? (Well, I will be doing that anyway). I tried to reset, and reinstall. . . No luck. . Maybe I need to restore my Laptop to when I connected in September on Explorer. . .

In frustration, I left the VCL and went down to the Internet Café on Deck 8. Bam ! I connected in no time ! Hmmm. . Maybe it is simply and error in the connection in the Viking Crown Lounge. . . Or maybe it was just to damn early (5:30 AM)

I really love the coffee in the Concierge Lounge. It is very good, except they have no half and half (God Bless America !) Oh well, I will have to do with “Non Dairy Creamer” Wait. . . I will just have the Café Latte in the CL. Problem solved !

I viewed the TOMAS tracking map from the NOAA, and am not sure what it means? It appears that we are heading directly in the path of TOMAS, but maybe we will change our route based on the path of the storm. We still won’t know for sure where we will be going until 12Noon when Captain Srecko Ban give us the daily Report from the Bridge. . .

The seas are very rough today, as we head South. the ship is really rolling. . .Here are a few pics from last night and early this morning. Thanks for tuning in !

Thank you, Radio!

Wish I was there!

:D:)

Pictures are fabulous! I love a smaller, more intimate ship and a centrum vs. a promenade!

Yes, I love the Vision Class Ships too. . .

I just wish they had In Cabin Wireless. . . ARGHH *&^%$# :(

Radio..

Love your picture of the solarium at night. Looks like a shot of an MGM sound stage from one of those old aqua-musicals. I was waiting for Esther Williams to coming strolling out in a swim suit :D

Hi Radio,

Sure hope you get past Tomas without much more rocking and rolling. Pete and the Explorer should be headed back to Bayonne and in the same situation. Enjoying your live reports and pictures, sorry we couldn't joint you in the WJ for breakfast this morning! Safe travels.

Hi Radio.... from Canada (EOS Mar. 21/11)

You are such a great sport to take the time to include us all on your vacation..... I feel like I am on the ship with you.

If you get a chance, could you check out Bolero's Nightclub for me??? We really enjoyed the Latin Dancing there when we were on the Navigator, but someone said not long ago on a post, that Bolero's is just a "bar" now, but I will believe what the "Radio" tell me.

Thanks in advance, and keep the stories coming.

And to think people have said how crowded and seats are hard to find in the windjammer......guess they just need to be there at 7 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for sharing what it looks like at 5 am.....I never seem to see that when I'm cruising. Very peaceful.

Enjoying it all.

thanks

We were on Enchantment for the 9-night sailing out of Norfolk in June. Loved the ship, even though our favorites are the Voyager class (until we board Allure in January!). The Enchantment might not have all of the bells and whistles of the bigger ships, but she sure is one classy lady! LOVED the pool deck, the beautiful centrum, and really liked the theater, too. Great seats, and a beautiful stage curtain!
