sjgertz Posted November 10, 2010 #1 Share Posted November 10, 2010 Looking through the old posts there is discussion that one cannot have a crib in the Epic balcony rooms. Thinking about the transatlantic trip in may with a baby who will be 9 months. Bring trapped in an inside room with little outdoor space for so many sea days is not ideal. Have they resolved the crib issue?
Twelvevman Posted November 10, 2010 #2 Share Posted November 10, 2010 Yes. They can now fit a crib in the balcony room. I have heard it is tight but possible. I will be able to provide pictures after my cruise on 12/
Twelvevman Posted December 12, 2010 #3 Share Posted December 12, 2010 I just returned from our Epic cruise. I cannot say how well a crib would fit in the balcony room. I was able to upgrade on the ship to a Family Deluxe balcony with the bed near the balcony. In this cabin they were able to put the crib (it is a Graco Pack and Play) between the bed and the balcony door. It fit there nicely and did not interfere with moving around the cabin. I did not look to see if there wasenough room to put the crib in the same spot in the standard balcony cabin. The deluxe balcony also had the bathtub which came in very handy for baths for the baby. We never had to use the inflatable tub we had brought.
