billrco90278 Posted November 11, 2010 #1 Share Posted November 11, 2010 The Princess 4X4 Safari excursion stops at Turner beach. How is this beach for scenery and a relaxing stop and short swim? Is snorkling worth the time and rental cost? Any ideas of how much time is spent there? Thanks for the info.
suebee53 Posted November 16, 2010 #2 Share Posted November 16, 2010 Turner's Beach is delightful, but you don't go there to snorkel. There's a bar and grill, palapas, beautiful sand and water. A relaxing beach destination. We grabbed a van ride at the pier that took about 8 of us there and couldn't have been more pleased.
billrco90278 Posted November 16, 2010 Author #3 Share Posted November 16, 2010 Thanks for the info. Perhaps we should skip the excursion and just go there.

suebee53 Posted November 24, 2010 #5 Share Posted November 24, 2010 Is it easy to get a taxi back to the ship from Turner's Beach Ask the taxi driver who brings you to the beach to pick you back up at a prearranged time. And yes, if I were you I'd skip the excursion and just plan to go straight to the beach. It was one of our favorite stops.
