SailingGrace Posted November 15, 2010 #1 Share Posted November 15, 2010 Was reading where there are 'shuttle vans' near the taxis at the port you can get to get to MIA after the cruise from Port of Miami. Do these cost the same as taxis? Isn't a taxi $24? How much is the shuttle van?
Capt_BJ Posted November 15, 2010 #2 Share Posted November 15, 2010 a shuttle is cheaper for an individual as they charge per person a taxi becomes the better deal for two or more as the charge is per taxi last time I checked shuttle was $18 and the taxi $24 - both plus tip. Marie51 Posted November 15, 2010 #3 Share Posted November 15, 2010 The shuttle is a per person charge but a taxi is a flat rate. If there are 2 or more people, a taxi will cost less.
eandj Posted November 15, 2010 #4 Share Posted November 15, 2010 And if you want, with a cab you can double up with another couple or single and lower the cost even more. As long as your bags all fit.:o AND you don't have to wait for the shuttle to fill and load. it's a straight, fast, easy shot with the cab to MIA.
