sheilb4 Posted December 5, 2010 Author #3 Share Posted December 5, 2010 Yes, but a very small selection. Oh....do past passengers leave their books? I usually do that too... Guess I'll have to pack a few extra books now....thanks.
goinmobile68 Posted December 5, 2010 #4 Share Posted December 5, 2010 I would suggest bringing whatever you might want to read. I found the library to be a pleasant area, but was disappointed on out Alaska cruise by the contents-not a single book about the area we were travelling through. I mentioned it during a conversation with a customer service supervisor & was told that RCCI does not budget for book purchases-it is stocked totally with donated books from passengers. I wish I'd have known this earlier-my local library hosts a great book sale & I'd gladly have donated some purchases!

Yes, past passengers do leave books behind. We have seen it happen on all the ships we have been on. It is nice to exchange a pocket book.... Not many though on the Oasis, they were too busy to read!!
