Prnsessmoi Posted December 13, 2010 #1 Share Posted December 13, 2010 I found the following on NCL's website: Days Prior to Departure Date Cruise Cancellation Fee Air Cancellation Fee Land Cancellation Fee *Add-On Cancellation Fee Cruise Days: 6 Days or More 90-76 days (Holiday Only) Deposit $200 $50 10% 75-30 days Deposit $100 ($200 holiday) 0 ($50 holiday) 10% 29-8 days 50% $200 100% 50% 7 days or less 100% 100% 100% 100% We are going to have to cancel/reschedule our cruise that was set for June of 2011 (probably change to June 2012). The chart doesn't really describe what the cancellation fee is if you are more than 90 days away from your cruise. Since we are more than 90 days out from the cruise date, does that mean that we should receive our entire deposit back? We have that cruise booked through a travel agent...is it possible she can just transfer our deposit from the cruise we currently have booked to the one in 2012? (I realize the TA may have change/cancellation fees) Thanks in advance for any answers you might be able to provide. :) *Edit* Okay, the chart didn't transfer so well, but basically it said that on cruises of 6 days or more, the cancellation fees are: From 90-76 days (Holidays only), fee = deposit From 75 - 30 days, fee = deposit 29 - 8 days, fee = 50% 7 days or less, fee = 100% Hopefully this one will keep the formatting. :-\
Rare sparks1093 Posted December 13, 2010 #2 Share Posted December 13, 2010 If you are outside the fee period there is no charge to cancel your cruise so you should receive your entire deposit back.

garycarla Posted December 13, 2010 #5 Share Posted December 13, 2010 I would take the full refund, then book the other cruise separately to reduce potential issues.

knitlady037 Posted December 13, 2010 #7 Share Posted December 13, 2010 We cancelled a cruise that we had booked on the HAL and switched to NCL. The travel agent waived the cancellation fee because we booked another cruise.
