Found this thread: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=1314671&highlight=gem+restaurant+prices and was wondering if the chart below is still accurate: Also does anyone know the operational times? MikeyB Posted January 24, 2011 #3 Share Posted January 24, 2011 Hi Rikki Just off the Gem this past Friday. The prices are still the same. Unlike previous cruises where NCL discounted the prices on the first day out, it didn't happen to us this time. Enjoy!

Which of the main dining rooms did you prefer and how crowed were they at main meals? No disrespect MikeyB, but some of those prices are a year or two out of date. LeBistro is $20, Tequillas is $10 and LaCucina is $10...and I'm 99% sure Orchid Garden is $15. Typical dinner hours, which can vary a half hour here or there by restaurant or even day run from about 5:30 or 5 to 9:30 or 10.

MikeyB Posted January 24, 2011 #8 Share Posted January 24, 2011 No disrespect NJ. Sorry, if I was confused by what i saw on the link. On this cruise, we never waited more than a few minutes to get a table at either of the main restaurants. I will say this, service at the restaurants was much better when their staff was from eastern europe. We found it fair at best. The meals were good to very good.
