gonna go cruising Posted February 26, 2005 #1 Share Posted February 26, 2005 Does the time we board from the port in St. Maarten reflect as EST or Atlantic time? Our excursion gets back at 3:30 Atlantic, meaning 4:30 EST which translates to hurry up and board since we leave port at 5. Is this correct? Sorry to sound so ignorant, but I want to make sure we have a bit of shopping time in there and our excursion is from 11-3:30 Island(atlantic) time. I understand shops open at 9:30 which would not give us much time to shop unless front street is close to the port. Help?!
chrysalis Posted February 26, 2005 #2 Share Posted February 26, 2005 The ships time and clocks change according to the time zone you and the ports are in....so set your watches accordingly and you will not be late. If clocks are to be changed, the daily newspaper on board (princess patter) will tell you on the front page. There are shops right at the pier if you do not have enough time to get downtown....
