port queastion

You will need your scan and sail card at all times...it's how you get into your room, how you get off and on the ship, how you buy anything on the ship....you must have it with you at all times.

When you leave the ship, you'll have to scan the ship's card...can't leave without doing that! You should bring your DL...same size as the card, and usually waterproof...it's just easier than a passport!

DH and I carry a copy of our passports, a few $1 bills (or local equivalent) for tips, a credit card and our sail cards. I also carry a small digital camera, water bottle, a few kleenex and lip balm.

Have fun!

A lot of people would disagree, but we took our passports off the ship at every port. We figured there isn't much of a reason to get one if you aren't going to take it off. If something happens and you miss the ship, it won't do much good in the safe on the ship.

Other than that we took money, credit card, drivers license, camera, and towels if needed.
