We cannot hear the announcement etc...

 

We wonder if you tell us what the best way to start off on the first day...

 

Where we will get the ice skating ticket?

My best advice is to read the daily planner each evening in order to know what is happening the next day.

 

Also, check with Guest Relations when you first get on board to see what assistance they can provide.

the ice skating open times are listed in the cruise compasses. We loved our eastern sailing on Freedom. Its a wonderful ship with LOTS of things to do! There is also an ice show.

On RCI's website they have a CONTACT US section and an address for "Guest with special needs". They are very good at answering questions quickly. This would be good question for them.

Let the "special needs" dept. know when you're sailing...I believe they have some sort of way to let you know when there is an important announcement (flashing lights in your cabin or something like that) that you need to be aware of.

The times for ice tickets will be listed in your Daily Compass.

If you board before 1PM you will be able to get lunch in the WJ or pizza place, but you can not go to your cabin until 1PM (give or take a few minutes). Ask a waiter or bar tender to tell you when the anouncement is made that cabins are now avilible.

 

In your cabin, the tv has some channels that will give you a lot of info.

try 17 and forty something.

 

Study the daily ship paper (Cruise Compass).
