oldsilverfox Posted February 27, 2005 #1 Share Posted February 27, 2005 As part of our Celebrity fly / cruise package we are booked on British Airways. I have noticed that on Celebrity's acknowledgement, it says "special services" alongside the flight details. Does anybody know what this means, does it mean that the Upgrade fairy is smiling upon us, or we just get extra peanut snacks. Please put us out of our misery. Many thanks. Globaliser Posted February 27, 2005 #2 Share Posted February 27, 2005 Have you asked for anything special for the flight, for example wheelchair assistance, special meals, or anything like that? BA has a Special Services team, but you'd usually know if you were the type of passenger likely to get attention from them. Also, it's unlikely that it'll be a freebie upgrade, as BA don't do those unless they absolutely have to and they will only do it pretty close to the time of the flight. oldsilverfox Posted March 2, 2005 Author #3 Share Posted March 2, 2005 Hi Globaliser, No we are just ordinary standard cruising folk. The "Special Services" note appears on the main invoice from Celebrity alongside the flight details which is why we wondered whether they were going to cough up some goodies for once.
