Minne Wonka Girl Posted January 11, 2011 Author #3 Share Posted January 11, 2011 Apologies, I missed the earlier post, Capnpugwash. I would delete this post but don't think it is possible. Hopefully the news story will be interesting to people. I enjoyed the reference to Micky Arison's business acumen.

Cruise Liner Fan Posted January 11, 2011 #5 Share Posted January 11, 2011 Regarding the pod gremlins in the QM2's pods, I hope that the QM2 will still be able to have at least 3 1/2 decades of service life left in that ship.Is there anyone here that thinks otherwise? Regards,Jerry
guernseyguy Posted January 11, 2011 #6 Share Posted January 11, 2011 I enjoyed the reference to Micky Arison's business acumen. In his opening statement, Fowler expressed surprise as to why Rolls Royce would allow this matter to go to trial Because at trial Rolls had to pay $24m vs the $100m Carnival were asking for?
