ilovecraig929 Posted January 13, 2011 #1 Share Posted January 13, 2011 after reading several comments advising people to get to shows VERY early on the enchantment or you wont find a seat, im wondering does this mostly apply to the late shows? i know we have late dining so we'll be seeing early shows, just curious if it's in general ALL shows or specific times? cb at sea Posted January 13, 2011 #2 Share Posted January 13, 2011 We've never had a problem finding seats....we usually get there about 5-10 mins before the show starts...an we do late seating, too (early show)

Goes Cruising Posted January 13, 2011 #4 Share Posted January 13, 2011 Specific to Enchantment, we had early dine/late show on our October Canada/New England cruise, and it was a problem. More than I've ever encountered on a cruise. The crowd was elderly, and in general, showed up very early for everything. The line was into the casino at least 30 minutes before the doors opened, which was 30 minutes before the shows. Some of the shows were definitely over capacity. I'm really not sure if the problem was the crowd, the time of the show (early dine was at capacity), or that Enchantment really is too crowded because of the additional rooms that were added. DELTABLUE Posted January 13, 2011 #5 Share Posted January 13, 2011 I think that the problem is worse for those who have early dinner, which seems to be more popular and the one that is full to capacity. Whichever seating you have, you have to read the Compass as your main showtime changes from day to day. Some days your show is before dinner and some after. Stretching the passenger capacity of Enchantment and not the theater was a recipe for trouble.
sjb317 Posted January 13, 2011 #6 Share Posted January 13, 2011 We had late seating for dinner on our Enchantment cruise in June and did not have a problem finding seats in the theater. However, we usually look for seats in the back so we can slip out if we don't care for the show. Sherri:)
ilovecraig929 Posted January 13, 2011 Author #7 Share Posted January 13, 2011 thanks for the replies and thoughts, i know it probably varies greatly, just hoping that maybe by getting the late dinning we would luck out but i guess only time will tell! Fun2snorkel Posted January 13, 2011 #8 Share Posted January 13, 2011 We were on a 12 nite in Dec, had late seating and had no trouble finding a seat. Most shows for us were early - I would prefer them to be after late dining but lately that is not the case most nights. Maybe I am in the minority on wanting later shows.:):)
