"LIVE" from Oasis of the Seas / Jan 22, 2011

I am living vicariously (sp) through you right now. We were on Oasis in May, and just the pix of the Aqua Theater, empty and waiting for a performance tonight brought tears to my eyes! We are sailing three weeks from tomorrow on Allure. We should have our fix of "pre-cruise" excitement with yours and Trainmans "live" posts.

Thanks for doing this, I've read your previous reports...you are a great reporter!

Glad you made onboard safely and happy to hear that your back is feel somewhat better (stay away from the zipline for now)!:)

My group and I are in "laptop stalking position" for you & Trainman! We are loving your pics/review so far. My 5yr squealed over your Kids H2O zone pic.:D "Mommy I am soooo there."

Will you be getting casino pics well? We are curious about the non-smoking section and if it lives up to its name at least a little.

Thanks again! Have FUN!!

My husband and I are sailing the Eastern route on the Allure in October to celebrate our 5th anniversary. I will be watching your thread along with Trainman's as well. Figure yours will tell me all I need to know about the ports of call and Trainman will get me info on the Allure.

Thanks so much for allowing us all to travel along with you!! Have a wonderful trip:)

We just got off the Oasis this morning. I hope things go smoothly, seemed there were lots of little glitches this past sailing.

Things were slow bording for us and we were told that the gangway was damaged by one of the cranes loading the boat. They said it would be about a month or so to repair. We also had some staff members tell us that today the Oasis was getting many inspections and it would be a stressful day. lol

The fog was pretty heavy this morning, but it made for some neat pictures of the other boats sailing in behind us.

Have fun.

Wow Dad! Your room looks really nice! The play areas at the kids pool looks awesome! Can hardly wait to take little Monroe there in a few years! He'll love playing in there with his Poppie! Have a great cruise.
