Would like to start a comparsion of all the loyalty programs in one chart to make comparsion easier. Anyone interested or want to help ??

The RCI Crown & Anchor program is hands down the best loyalty program in the industry.

HAL's is geared to attract the new cruisers. There isn't anything there for we old timers unless you like wine and buy the wine packages -- 50% off. Also 50% off speciality Restaurant. No free internet minutes. You max out at 200 days - and when people get to that level -- they get some perks - like free laundry -- which those of us who book the top category cabins already get for free.

Not that long ago, I read a fabulous comparison some poster had compiled posted on either this forum or the HAL forum. Do an advanced search and look around a bit. I know it is there and a lot of work went into accumulating it.

Loyalty programs really vary. We are Diamond with RCL, Elite with Celebrity, Elite with Princess and 3 Star with HA. Among those lines we think that X and Princess currently have the best amenities at those levels. HA offers very little other then decent discounts off wine packages at the higher 3 and 4 star levels. In HAs defense, this line has many loyal customers with hundreds of cruise days which does create problems when they offer amenities. On a longer HA cruise it is common to find a very high percentage of passengers in the 3 and 4 star category. The 175 points required by RCI to obtain Diamond Plus would chump change on many HA cruises where many folks would earn that many points in a single year.
