Debbb1 Posted January 27, 2011 #1 Share Posted January 27, 2011 This is my first cruise on Adventures of the Seas, trying to pick out clothes. Is it cold in Main dinning areas and the Theater? I have frozen on other cruises, thought I'd bring long sleeves this time (a light sweater). I'm from Arizona,so normal AC is too cold for me...LOL Also, how dressy are the regular dinner nights? Can you wear capris and flip flops or should I do dress slacks, casual dresses? Any feedback appreciated!! Thanks,Deb
FirstAlto Posted January 27, 2011 #2 Share Posted January 27, 2011 Hi Deb - I'm going to be on the Adventure with you!! I have never been on a cruise ship yet that hasn't been chilly in the dining room and theater - a sweater will always come in handy. As for clothes I usually bring a mixture of capris and sandals (not everyday flip-flops) and a couple of sundresses. Of course, as you know as you've been on a cruise before - anything goes these days ;) Hope you enjoy your cruise on the Adventure - one of our favorite ships - our 3rd cruise on her!!:D Jane
ehfl Posted January 27, 2011 #3 Share Posted January 27, 2011 It's better to have a sweater and not need it, than to need it and not have it. The dress code is conveniently listed on the RCL website. Have a fantastic vacation!

BND Posted January 27, 2011 #5 Share Posted January 27, 2011 I have never been on a cruise that it WAS cold. I've always been comfortable in the MDR and theater. They don't keep those spaces cold, it's just that some people feel cold a lot of the time. I know people that are cold everywhere they go no matter what the indoor temp.
