Cupcrazy Posted February 4, 2011 #1 Share Posted February 4, 2011 Are the pools on the Oasis fresh water or salt water? I've seen some people say salt and some say fresh. Then some say half. Does anyone know exactly? Thanks!
DarthGrady Posted February 4, 2011 #2 Share Posted February 4, 2011 Fresh water. Freedom Class ships have fresh water pools too. Thats why I'm MUCH more likely to go swimming on those ships, I loathe salt water. Edit: I did a little more reading, apparently the Beach Pool is salt, which makes sense. The rest are fresh. Thanks Darth. I don't care either way but a couple of the people I'm going on the Oasis with don't like salt water pools. So that's good news for them
fauxtographie Posted February 4, 2011 #4 Share Posted February 4, 2011 I asked the deck/towel attendant. All the pools are fresh water, with the exception of the beach pool. I can confirm because I jumped into each one at least once on my cruise.

That might get some parents a little suspicious seeing I don't have kids on the ship.
