Costa Maya is a protected port area with shops and a pool area similar to the Grand Turk cruise port. There are the usual cruise line shops... DI, Del Sol... some shops in traditional storefronts... and some under brush roofs. It is gated. There is a small town near Costa Maya... don't trust my spelling here (or my memory)...
