I answered your post on the Crystal board. Are you on a Crystal cruise, or are you just cross-posting? This makes a difference because if you're not on Crystal, the answer is much different.

If you have lots of luggage, the train is not a good idea because they don't have any help for you with the luggage. You still might be able to purchase Crystal's transfers, even though you aren't booked in their hotel. I did this with a Crystal cruise a few years ago. I booked my own hotel, but purchased the Crystal transfer and it worked out great. The only thing I had to do was take their bus to their hotel, and then I took a cab to my hotel, which was very inexpensive. Private cars will be expensive because the Euro is very strong against the dollar but that's another idea for you.
