princess vs hal

I know this may have been answered before but how does the princess,saffire or dawn stack up against hal oosterdam ? Of paticular interest is the food we like room service and steaks both have been excellent on hal but departure point is steering us towards princess. WE have never sailed wiht princess and want soem feedabck. two differrent cruises in mind one alaska the other a 10 mex.riveria

Any comparitives would be helpful

If you like HAL you will be comfortable and like Princess. We have been on 7 HAL cruises and 2 Princess cruises at this point and have signed up to do another Princess cruise in the future.

 

The food is compariable, the service similar and the cabins while different in how they are arranged are similar also.

We've done Holland, Princess and Royal Carb. - I will NEVER do Holland again but loved Princess. My DH liked Royal. We both had bad experiences on Holland's Veendam. Never again.
