Room Phone charges on Fascination- dropped yet to 99 cents per minute?

Has anyone been on Fascination lately? Heard Carnival, on some ships, are dropping the cost to just 99 cents per minute to call from the ship back home to the United States. Has that happend on the Fascination?

Last week (Feb. 28-Mar.5) they were $2.99/min. In cabin phone, not cellphone. EM

At the end of January on the Destiny they were .99 per minute and last week on the Miracle they were 2.99. So it appears the .99 is only on certain ships, the 2.99 is still more than my cell phone company charges but at .99 the ship is definitely a better deal.

The 99 cents is a super deal. Even the $2.99 is not so bad, compared to the $7 or so a minute I've seen ship to shore rates at. I bet there aren't a lot of takers at that cost.
