Yes. I suggest you book an MTD reservation for this online before your cruise. Or go to the MTD desk upon embarkation and make the reservation. The high availablity of tables for two is why we switched to MTD from traditional.

You can request it and it is possible. It really just depends on how many of that same specific request they get for that cruise. Best to put in the request before you get on board. If you don't get it, check again at the dining room as soon as possible after you board. Good Luck!

when we did MTD, we didn't make any reservations...just showed up when we wanted to eat and always had a table for 2. We were asked each time if we wanted to sit alone or with a group.

We did MTD last week on Freedom. We just walked up when we wanted to eat and always got a table for two with the same excellent wait staff every night.

 

Bella, Your chances of getting a table for two with traditional dining will be a bit more difficult.

We cruised on Navigator OS and did MTD and booked our dining times before we cruised by going online. We made a few changes once on board and reviewing the Compass, but we had no problem getting a table for two with the same waiters every night. Usually the exact table, but 2 times one nearby. We usually dined between 6:15 - 7:30 depending on what shows we wanted to see that night. Good luck!:D
