Carnival cruise with destination wedding??

Has anyone done this??? I've read a ton of great reviews with beautiful pictures of on ship weddings, but what about the destination ones in a port of call? How did it go? Was it as smooth and stress free as the on ship ones sound? Any helpful hints on what to do different than that packages may include or are the packages just perfect. How do you get a photographer and are they any good??

 

I'm looking to do a wedding and reception with about 20 people.

I haven't yet, but will be getting married on St. Thomas in Nov.

Decide where you want to get married, then do a google search and find our who does weddings where your going. Come on here and do a search for reviews. The wedding coordinator will also give you recommended photographers. They handle it all. I just have to tell my coordinator the color for my flowers. Shelly

I know this sounds stupid, but do the destination wedding prices include a reception? It really doesn't go into great detail on the Carnival site.
