trvldog Posted March 21, 2011 #1 Share Posted March 21, 2011 we have decided to do PG one night on Alaska cruise/Westerdam Does anyone know what days the formal nights would be? I do not want to book PG on those nights. Any information is appreciated
jtl513 Posted March 21, 2011 #2 Share Posted March 21, 2011 Looking at your itinerary, my guesses would be the first sea day, 8 May, and Ketchikan, 12 May. It won't be Victoria night, and Hubbard Glacier night would be too soon after the first.

I do not want to book PG on those nights. Any information is appreciated Something my wife and I always do is to go the PG the very first night. The dinning room is always a little crazy that night and we have a nice relaxing dinner. If you can't get the time you want on line, which happens alot, make it as soon as you get on the ship. There is someone in the Lido that will make the reservations, they are right by the italian resturant.
Krazy Kruizers Posted March 21, 2011 #4 Share Posted March 21, 2011 agree -- we have done your itinerary and the formal nights were the first sea day and the night of ketchikan since you leave that port early
trvldog Posted March 21, 2011 Author #5 Share Posted March 21, 2011 Thanks, I booked us for Glacier Day! I was going to pass this year but my niece saw the menu posted and well... we are now booked. Her first cruise so she has to try it ;)
Typhoon1 Posted March 21, 2011 #6 Share Posted March 21, 2011 There is someone in the Lido that will make the reservations, they are right by the italian resturant. You will find someone there who can make reservations at any of the alternative dining venues. Another option is to pick up the nearest phone and call dining reservations.
