Favorite thing from room service

You'd better learn several foreign languages if you're going to ask for anything! There's an old thread about a conversation with room service that is a hoot.

Yep. DW called room service and asked about a couple different desserts, and how many cookies were in an order of cookies (answer was 4), and a couple of questions about some sandwiches. A minute of chitchat and back-and-forth and it SOUNDED like DW had condensed all this info down to a clear and concise order. Apparently not - we ended up with 3 sandwiches, one side of something I can't remember, a cheese cake dessert, and, you guessed it, 4 plates of cookies.

We normally order only juice and coffee from RS. Last year on Dream we got back late from our excursion so ordered from RS for a late lunch. I ordered the steak and brie and it came with MUSTARD. To me, it was totally gross. Had I realized mustard was on the sandwich, I'd have told them no mustard.

Now, I know better and when we are on Dream again, I will tell them no mustard. We haven't ever tried the desserts and DH hopes to do so soon. My DH ordered the BLT and I did ask if they could toast the bread, and it came toasted. I think when I try the steak with brie, I am going to ask for it to be grilled.

Enjoy!

Oh man, you guys are getting me hungry! May can't get here soon enough!

Question: Husband and I are big coffee drinkers. How many cups of coffee is in a room service carafe? If I typically have 3 10 oz. cups in the am and hubby has 2, how many carafe's should we order? hahahaa sounds like one of those pesky word problems from math class!!

We are big coffee drinkers as well. We ordered 2 carafes each morning. You may want to do the same. Better safe than sorry. Also, make sure to notate if you want sugar, Splenda, creamer, skim etc..... or else you will just get black coffee. :)
