Friends are leaving on their 1st cruise on Summit next Sunday from OSJ....once on board can you leave again? They should arrive by 1pm but will not leave port until 830. We've never done this before so I didn't know what to tell her.

Yes, you can. Summit departs from OSJ proper. They do need to confirm what time they need to be back onboard the ship. Our cruise leaves at 8:30pm from the Pan American Pier across the harbor on 4/10 and we need to be onboard by 5:30 I think for muster drill at 6. Summit might have similar time issues.
