Sailing Carnival Inspiration on 5/7 from Tampa

Hi all! I'm a second time cruiser (both on Carnival). I'm so looking forward to this upcoming trip in May! My sister and a friend of mine will be cruising with me. Anyone else out here planning on the same trip? Also, we will be staying in a triple room. Anyone have any ideas/suggestions for us related to the room and/or the trip itself? Thanks!

We loved this trip so much we are doing it again in July. FYI..the 3rd person will be sleeping on a top bunk, you may want to draw straws, not sure how comfy it is, but the regular beds are really comfy.

We did the anytime dining last trip, I will probably opt for late seating like we normally do next time. While we sat with the same waiter each time, I am still not sure why I prefer set dining. You may want to choose set dining as wll if you want to be sat with others to socialize with. Anytime is better for sitting on your own.

This ship is pretty small compared to others, so easy to find your way around. If you have any questions in particular I can try to answer them.

We've done "Inspiration" a number of times, and ALWAYS enjoy sailing that ship. Big enough to have everything I want to do, yet small enough that I get to know many of my fellow passengers, and lots of the employees. GREAT cruise, IMO. Be sure to check out the "Serenity Area" as it's super nice, and relaxing, and as the cruise goes on, more and more folks find out about it, so it gets more crowded.

Have a wonderful cruise aboard "Inspiration".

Thanks all for the responses! I am surely looking forward to getting away. And feel blessed that my little sister wants to spend time with me during her one free week of the summer! My preference for dining is the late time too! However, that was filled so my travel agent said she put us at the earlier time and also waitlisted us for the 5:45-??time. I'm not certain what that means but it is the only time listed as my dinner time: 5:45-9:30 waitlisted.I think i would also prefer the set dining time as one of you said, but i've only ever done the late dining time. I will also check out the roll calls, that sounds fun to meet someone before the cruise and then in person on the ship!

1) The top bunk isn't bad, that's where I (middle sister) slept. You can close it up during the day, makes it easier for everyone to get around.

2) We arranged one bed under the bunk and the other next to the window, so there would be plenty of floor space.

3) It helped us to have a shoe organizer, which we hung over the closet door to hold all of the little stuff that women bring for ourselves and also to share (hand lotion, sunscreen, razors, makeup bottles, sewing kit, phone chargers, etc).

4) Hope you get a chance to listen to Jerry, the guitar player. We really enjoyed his performances.

5) It looks like you are waitlisted for the Your Time Dining. If you really want a set time, get your TA to change your waitlist. It seems like more people are wanting the YTD, so it may be easier to get the set time.

6) Older sister wished that we had late vs our early dining, so that we could have watched the sunset in February, but with DST and later in the season cruise, you might be able to see it after early dinner.
