Plaza deck on Coral Princess

Cabin prices have gone down since we originally booked our cruise and we are thinking about changing from interior rooms on the Caribe deck to ocean view rooms on the Plaza deck. Has anyone stayed in these rooms? Did you like them? Any positives or negatives? How about noise from the casino?

Thanks!

Hi,

We stayed in P330 in Dec. There was no noise at all from anything. It was mid ship and we loved it. Large picture window. On the last night coming into LA it was really windy and wavy and the waves did hit the window a few times but that was exciting. I think we may have seen them bringing down a tender past our window one day, but it was no big deal. I was worried because I read these cabins can be noisy but we had no problem. Spend time on the front and back of the Coral on the decks. walk all the way forward or back on 10,11,12 go threw the door and then there is another door and you will be on the decks. Lounge chairs are on the back standing on the front. Great place with very few people.

have a great cruise.

IMO, any outside is better than being in the dark.

  • 2 weeks later...

We were in P617 on the Coral about a month ago. The picture window was over the bed, it was a good size one. I thought the room was a bit narrow, had to move the small coffee table before bedtime by the desk and in the morning move it again next to the wall. I felt that the cabin needed more storage. I visited a balcony room on the Carib and the cabin set up was better. No inside room for me, too dark.
