queenteacher Posted April 19, 2011 #1 Share Posted April 19, 2011 We are considering cabin 7455 on the Magic, same layout as the Dream, so we are studying the Dream deck plans. It looks like a staircase or something outside cabin 7455. Has anyone who stayed there give me any info? Thanks!
Rare crewsweeper Posted April 19, 2011 #2 Share Posted April 19, 2011 We are considering cabin 7455 on the Magic, same layout as the Dream, so we are studying the Dream deck plans. It looks like a staircase or something outside cabin 7455. Has anyone who stayed there give me any info? Thanks! I think on the Dream those are inside service stairs between the Verandah,Empress and the Upper deck. Not sure if passengers can use them, but they only go to those decks, not any of the public decks. BTW on cruisedeckplans dot com, you can find dragable deck plans for the Magic, albeit there could be changes in lay out not yet made public. queenteacher Posted April 19, 2011 Author #3 Share Posted April 19, 2011 That is good news! I hope it's true! I really want this cabin but hate being by stairs or elevators!

Hooking4 Posted April 19, 2011 #5 Share Posted April 19, 2011 that is a crew access stairway . we had a aft wrap ( 7445 ) on the Liberty with the same stairway butting up to our cabin wall . Warning ! its a crew smoking area at night ....................... could smell the smoke at night in the cabin ...........opened the balcony door , it helped . Good luck . k2excursion Posted April 19, 2011 #6 Share Posted April 19, 2011 It is a staff stairway. Guests cannot access it. What that means is that it will be quiet. We stayed in a room wrapped around the staff stairway on the Triumph on Deck 2, and never heard any noise at all from it. We never smelled any smoke either. That may be a different story on Deck 7; I don't know. I think this stairway goes from Deck 9 all the way down to at least Deck 1.
