starprotected Posted April 22, 2011 #1 Share Posted April 22, 2011 I just love the information on this website. I am planning on booking a last minute cruise this summer. I have the summer off so I can book up to a week out. I am hoping to get really good last minute 7 day cruise deals. I live in FL so I do not need air fare. I am looking for any advice and I was wondering if with last minute deals come undesirable cabin locations? Thanks
cb at sea Posted April 22, 2011 #2 Share Posted April 22, 2011 What's undesirable to one, may be a gem of a cabin to another! Most folks don't want to be on the 2 lowest decks all the way upfront....noise issues when the "drop anchor".... Other than that, most cabins are fine! Krazy Kruizers Posted April 22, 2011 #3 Share Posted April 22, 2011 keep in mind that there are not a lot of ships in florida in the summer months any more -- most have already pulled out already
firefly333 Posted April 22, 2011 #4 Share Posted April 22, 2011 I booked the day of the cruise over last July 4th weekend on a cruise to nowhere out of Galveston due to a early hurricane. Deals can be had. If you hear of hurricanes, people some times cancel and you can get on for a much better deal. The cruiselines are already advertising last minute summer deals.
