poohbear8 Posted March 13, 2005 #1 Share Posted March 13, 2005 I've booked with Godfrey to pick-up at 10:00am. What if I can't get off the ship that quickly? I just read a post where it took 1 1/2 hours to get cleared to get off the ship. Will he wait? I'm sure he has run into this before, but I wonder how he handles it. Thanks! gonna go cruising Posted March 13, 2005 #2 Share Posted March 13, 2005 I would make sure and take his cell number with you and if you have sprint service I know it is a local call in St Thomas. He picks up at 9,10 and 11. I called him last week when we did not know for sure where to meet him and he was very helpful. Chances are you will be off in plenty of time. We were off the Caribbean Princess by 8:30.

S.S.Oceanlover Posted March 14, 2005 #5 Share Posted March 14, 2005 last summer when we were coming down the gangway of the ship he was standing there with a sign with our name on it. We got lucky and got his nephew Anthony and and air conditioned van. :) We skipped the shopping part and asked to be picked up at 11am. Everybody else went earlier so we had a personal tour guide all to ourselves. Bill
poohbear8 Posted March 14, 2005 Author #6 Share Posted March 14, 2005 He emailed back to confirm our pick-up time and he said to look for him with a sign with our name on it. Seems simple, if we get off the ship in time! Peg
S.S.Oceanlover Posted March 14, 2005 #7 Share Posted March 14, 2005 even if you don't get off the ship in time he'll wait. don't worry! When we used Godfrey we got off the ship at 11:10. Only 10 minutes late but he was there and said he had been there since 10:30 in case we got off early. Bill
