Calling Card ?

I have cricket and they dont offer intl service. Would getting a calling card be the best way to contact the kids back in the States while overseas? I have never used a calling card before not sure if most spots we will stop at will even have pay phones, or even if I can use the calling card with my cricket phone.. Pls help me!!

I don't know about using a card with Cricket, but don't buy an "international" calling card until you get to the place where you'll use it. The ones you buy here are for calling TO a foreign place, from the USA. You want one that allows calls from your ports TO the USA!

There are almost always pay phones in or near the dock area.
