We stayed there on a land vacation a few years ago

and I really liked it. The rooms were nice.

It was convient to everything.

We walked everywhere.

We stayed there after a cruise last year. It's old, but still charming. The layout is kind of odd, but that's hardly a big deal. $$$ Valet parking only as I recall, which seems common in NOLA.

 

It's an easy walk to the FQ and Bourbon St.

 

I'd go back.

DH and I are booked here for our November cruise on the Conquest.

I was hoping to get some positive feed back about the hotel.

We are arriving on Amtrak. Anyone have any idea how far the hotel is from the train station?

The train station is not very far from the hotel but too far to walk if you have luggage, no more than two or three miles at most. We stayed here a couple of weeks ago and it's very clean, everyone is extremely nice and it's a great location, convenient to walk everywhere.

I would stay here again. And The Hotel New Orleans is a nice place and across the street from the terminal.
