How far away is Mahogany Bay to Coxen Hole?

When we went to Roatan in 2008 the new Mahogany Bay was not yet completed and we docked at Coxen Hole. We did a wonderful excursion to get to know the island and after we went to a couple places. We would like to go back to right near the old Coxen Hole cruise dock.

Does anyone know an excursion that takes you to a beach to relax and then to Coxen Hole to do a little shopping/eating?

Is there transportation from Coxen Hole to Mahogany Bay you can use to return to the ship yourselves?

Just a couple of miles or so. Take a taxi. Not expensive. There is a local bus that very cheap but runs irregularly, like the ones in Grand Cayman. for what you want to do, yo migth contact Rony or Victor and set up an excursion with one of them. Let them take you to a nice beach area in West Bay, then pick you up and take you shopping in Coxen Hole, or even past MBCC to French Harbor and it's newer shopping mall, depending on what you're looking for. Then bring you back to MBCC.
