Questions about bringing small children on a cruise...

Hello,

It has been a while since I have been on here but I have a couple questions. Currently I am expecting my first little one in October and I am already planning a vacation at the end of next year. I guess that I never really paid to much attention to people with small kids before but now I am wondering about bringing one. Are stollers allowed on the boats or would I have to carry my little one around (not that I mind but I know that Allure of the Seas is huge and that is alot of walking). I know bringing a 1 year old would be alot of work but I want to let my kids experience things and even though they will not remember it I just want to see him or her enjoy sitting on the windy deck and all the different things on the ship. Ok so before I carry on to much, my main questions are:

1. Bringing a stoller
   
2. If they have a kids menu at the dinning room
   
3. Bringing a pack and play (I will be reserving a Junior Suite) is that to much?
   
4. Last one... has any one experienced the kids sections of the ship?

You bring your own stroller. Lots of people bring the umbrella strollers.

 

Yes they have a kids menu. Things like chicken nuggets, mac and cheese usual kid menu stuff.

 

You can make arrangements for them to provide you with a pack and play.

 

If you are leaning towards Allure, they have babysitting services.

 

There is a family board on this site and they have a wealth of information available. I hope you have a great cruise.
