Will QM2 include South America in W.C again?

Just trying to plan our next trip, was wondering if anyone has inside information on when or if Cunard plan to include South America on a World Cruise again, ie around Cape Horn?

If you mean QM2, as in the subject line, then she is not Panamax and will need to go round Cape Horn, until such time as the Canal work is complete.

I have heard on this board that QM2's South American segments of previous world cruises have been hard to sell - hence the more recent world sailings via South Africa and back via Suez. Therefore wouldn't expect a repeat anytime soon.

In relation to someone's earlier post, are they doing something to the canal which will enable QM2 to pass through it in the future?

Have just done some 'googling'. QM2 will be able to use the Panama Canal from 2014. Great news.
