Pride at Christmas???

I am trying to determine which cruise to do for Christmas. Baltimore is less than 2 hours away, so sailing the Pride would save about $1,500 in airfare. Also...the itinerary is not the greatest. I prefer the western ports, but to compensate for the air cost, we would have be limited to a 4 or 5 day cruise. I'd love to take a longer cruise, but is it worth it taking the Pride in the Cold Weather...I'm thinking the first and last days at sea will be winter weather, other days possibly more like spring?

That sounds like a good idea. I'm not sure I would drive all the way to SC from NJ, but Spirit flys from Atlantic City to Myrtle Beach, I can get the flight for under $200 per person which will make the cruise the same price. Also...better port times and Key West instead of Pt. Canaveral. Definately woth considering.

Thanks for your help.

It will be cold the first two and a half days and the last day and a half. If you are going to experience cruising on a wonderful ship, I would say go for it. If your priority is warmer weather, then sail from a southern port.

Either way, have a great trip!
