Texarribean Chick Posted June 7, 2011 #3 Share Posted June 7, 2011 St. Thomas is a USVI. If you have been to a foreign port (say The Bahamas) before you go to ST.T, you will have to clear US Customs again before you can exit the ship. This may take you a bit longer. golfadj Posted June 7, 2011 #4 Share Posted June 7, 2011 I would estimate 30-60 minutes after arrival. Can be more or less depending upon what is going on.
CondoDiva Posted June 7, 2011 Author #5 Share Posted June 7, 2011 Thank you for the info!! St. Thomas will be the 1st stop after boarding in Ft. Lauderdale so it sounds like it will be hopefully on the quicker side. We rented a boat in St. John and would like to be there by 9am, it looks like we should make it!! Thank you again, and so fast with the info!!!:D

Exactly.....when we arrived in Grand Cayman a few years back, it was 2 1/2 hrs before we could get off.

The folks who man the pier still have to show up and I doubt they'll get there any earlier than needed. Expect to arrive at the pier about 30 to 45 minutes early and be able to begin debarking about an hour later. :)

I've read that they are no longer doing this. Bill
