rita¨s fiesta on western int

Recommended Posts

I would go on a night other than a formal night. We happend to be on the allure during cinco de mayo and that is when we had our Rita Cantina's party. It is a nice and different experience. We danced and had a lot of fun at the cantina, you can view the food and review on our blog http://www.twoculturescook.com/?news_posts=ritas-cantina-on-allure-of-the-seas

We could only book it the first night (Sunday) for the Allure on our Western Cruise on June 5th. I think it was a great way to start off the week. We had a great time, food was good not great and the margaritas were great. Very entertaining and got everyone involved!

At first, I thought it would not be ideal but we only had the option of MTD for the dining room... and I figured the first night in the MDR might be a little chaotic. It worked out well for us. Also, we had two kids with us, and the Chicago show afterward...

We were on that cruise as well and had a Boardwalk Balcony room and it sure looked like you guys were all having fun!! It was a good way to start the week! :) Any night will be fun from what we saw! :D

We booked Wednesday evening. I think that you need to work it around your entertainment schedule. We happened to keep that evening open for Rita's since it did not start until after 8:00. We had a good time and would do it again.

How many evenings is the Rita Fiesta offered?

For my upcoming November cruise it was available to book on 3 evenings, Sunday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

We picked Wednesday because there is no AO on Sunday (and my kids would NOT enjoy it) and Thursday happens to be Thanksgiving on my sailing.

We booked for Thursday night because it is a formal night and we are not big fans of dressing up. (and not lobster fans). This way we can dress casually, and not offend anyone in the MDR. We will dress appropriately on the first formal night- but once is enough for us!!:D
