BlondeKajun Posted June 16, 2011 #1 Share Posted June 16, 2011 We have booked our family (incl. 2 daughters 6 &12) on the dogsledding excursion. We fully understand it gets cancelled more than most. We want to book a fishing excursion for after lunch as an alternative/addition, should our doglsledding be canceled. Anyone done a fishing trip in Skagway? Budget Queen Posted June 16, 2011 #2 Share Posted June 16, 2011 Compared to other areas, Skagway is a poor choice for fishing.

Do you have any other tour suggestions to keep in mind should our dogsledding get cancelled?

There is no consistant areaa and any sighting is going to be pure chance. If you have a morning glacier dog sledding tour scheduled, You may want to consider having a car rental reservation- and the phone number handy to cancel. http://www.skagway.com
