triple7tahoe Posted June 18, 2011 #1 Share Posted June 18, 2011 It appears that the Caribbean Princess sails at 11PM for most of its cruises from San Juan-Anybody know why? Who is the present Captain on the CB? Thanks
Carolyn R Posted June 18, 2011 #2 Share Posted June 18, 2011 San Juan is usually a very short sail to the next port and it gives the passengers a chance to experience Old San Juan at night, as well as give passengers more time to get to the port. Sailings from San Juan are great. In the winter, you fly, you land, and you are immediately warm! Not so from FLL where it can be very cool for the first and last days. I will really miss Princess sailings out of San Juan after next year and hope they reconsider. Different itineraries each week made it a great b2b 14-day getaway. I will miss it also. Time for something new in the winter I guess. Janet
