torbs Posted June 30, 2011 #1 Share Posted June 30, 2011 Hello I know the Oasis has wifi throughout the ship. Can anybody tell me if it is available within the cabin on the FOS? Thanks
bionicman97 Posted July 1, 2011 #2 Share Posted July 1, 2011 We had wifi in an inside cabin on the Freedom, so I would assume it was available in all of the rooms.
insulationbabe Posted July 1, 2011 #3 Share Posted July 1, 2011 We were on deck eight a couple of years ago in a balcony and had it in our cabin - we were also on the Freedom in March and yes it is throughout the ship - we love it in the cabin:)

Desertbelle Posted July 1, 2011 #5 Share Posted July 1, 2011 What is the cost of wifi in your cabin on the Freedom? Is it per cabin or per device?
Merion_Mom Posted July 1, 2011 #6 Share Posted July 1, 2011 What is the cost of wifi in your cabin on the Freedom? Is it per cabin or per device? Computer usage costs the same whether you use their computers or your own, whether you are in your cabin or out and about on the ship. Base rate is $.65 per minute or choose from one of the prepaid packages: $35 for 60 minutes $55 for 100 minutes $75 for 150 minutes $100 for 250 minutes $150 for 500 minutes Even if you use your own laptop, you will have to use the ship's PC once to establish a WiFi username and password, and purchase an internet package. If you are a member of C&A, there is a coupon for some internet usage. The amount depends on your level.
truffles2 Posted July 2, 2011 #7 Share Posted July 2, 2011 If you are going to be using it for email, download your email and log off. Read your email off-line and formulate your response off-line, then log on to transmit. Saves quite a bit as it is verrrrrrrrrry slowwwwww.
